Getting things done is an important goal for any leader. Today I am talking with Katrina Busselle and getting it done is what she’s all about. Katrina works with companies and leaders in building teams to help execute their ideas. She helps leaders go from stuck to a place of opportunity.

How you lead in your life, is how you lead in your work. Katrina and I discuss her superpower which at times can be her kryptonite, which is adaptability. Katrina is a chameleon. We talk about how this works in her parenting style, as a mother of twin teenagers, and how it translates to leadership.

Do you find yourself having difficulty accepting help? Do you feel like your problems may be lesser than others? Or do you just feel like it’s your job to help others and you’re not in need of receiving? Katrina shares how she works through this, for her, it’s about being clear about your contribution and speaking up.

Before she parts, Katrina shares some great nuggets of wisdom. When thinking of her younger self, she struggled a lot with fighting her perception. She counteracts this with self awareness now. It is more than being aware of yourself independently but also taking in information about how you’re perceived by others and what you’re going to do about it.  Additionally, Katrina shares her secret sauce. SLEEP. This is something she and I agree on, and find so important to productivity.

You can find out more about Katrina Busselle on her website or by sending her an email.
